ArcSoft Software & Video Grabber Support

The USB video grabbers rely on bundled ArcSoft software (such as ArcSoft ShowBiz or MediaConverter) for video capture and conversion. Because this is legacy third-party software, our internal support capabilities are limited.

Please use the guidelines below to assist customers experiencing software or activation issues.

Troubleshooting & Support Policy

  • Primary Advice: If the software malfunctions, advise the customer to completely uninstall the application, reboot the system, and perform a clean re-installation.

  • Official Support: For advanced technical inquiries, customers can be referred to the official archive page: ArcSoft Support. Note: Active support for older OEM bundled software may be limited or discontinued by the vendor.

  • Alternative Solution (Recommended): If the ArcSoft software fails to work or activate on modern operating systems (like Windows 10 or Windows 11), advise the customer to use OBS Studio (free/open-source) or VLC Media Player. These programs natively recognize the USB video grabber hardware without requiring license keys.
